This July was full of summer tours galore. The BSVII team hosted our partners at the Federal Transportation Commission and its Project Management Oversight Consultant at the West Portal Launch Structure construction site. Our project management consultant interns and Mineta Transportation Institute students got a first-hand look at the effort it takes to build the launch structure. Leaders from the City of Santa Clara, East Bay Municipal Utilities District and the American Society of Civil Engineers also visited the site.Â
