The BSVII team welcomed members Caltrain and the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board to the West Portal Launch Structure construction site in June. Our outreach team also spoke to the business community at VTA’s procurement and resources fair.

Earth Day celebrations lasted throughout the month of April. The BSVII team took to the streets at Viva Calle and San Jose State University’s Earth Day Festival to share how the project will create more sustainable, green transit options for our community.

This March, the BSVII team welcomed the National Women in Construction San Francisco and Silicon Valley chapters to the West Portal Launch Structure Construction Site. Tom Maguire, VTA’s Chief of Megaprojects, also spoke at the American Society of Civil Engineer’s California Infrastructure Symposium where he shared the momentum of the project to fellow attendees.
